Phulbani: The COVID-19 tally in Kandhamal district mounted to 616 on Sunday with an overnight addition of 44 new cases.
According to the district administration, nine cases have been reported from Kotagarh, followed by Baliguda (8), seven each from Tumudibandh and Chakapad, five each from Phulbani and G Udaygiri, Raikia (2), and Daringbadi (1).
Among the 44 new cases, three are COVID warriors while one is a CRPF jawan.
