Bhubaneswar: Sixth Odisha Art and Literature Festival (OLAF 2022) is set to commence from March 16.
Discussions on art, literature, music and films are lined up for the three-day literary festival which will be held at Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre near Xavier’s Square, here.
Poetry recitals, book release, panel discussion and interview with eminent personalities have been lined up for the event.
Kunal Basu, Ranjan Kumar Das, Satya Mohanty, Dr Hrushikesh Mallick Yashodhara Mishra will grace the inaugural session, stated a release by the organisers.
Noted author Achyutananda Pati, former bureaucrat and academic Dr Arun Kumar Rath and former DGP of Kerala Lokanath Behera will be felicitated on the occasion.
Dr. Mohanty’s poetry collection ‘Migrant Chronicles and Pandemic Musings’ and ‘Dancing on the Edge’, Odia translation of English novel ‘Sepia Leaves’ by Amandeep Sandhu, English translation of Odia poems by Gayatribala Panda, Odia version of the novel ‘Tejaswini O Sabnam’ by Kunal Basu and ‘Anam Kavya Andolan – An anthology of critical essays’, edited by Manu Dash will be released. It will be followed by a thematic session on Anam poetry movement.
Sponsored by Indian Oil, the daily sessions of OALF will be held from 10 am to 6 pm. Besides writers from different parts of the country, many noted Odia poets, short story writers, musicians, specialists on sports and cinema are scheduled to participate in the sessions, said Manu Dash, Curator of the festival.
