Balangir: Three major people-centric development projects were inaugurated in Balangir district on Monday.
Minister for Women and Child Development and Mission Shakti Tukuni Sahu and Chairman WODC Asit Tripathy inaugurated the projects.
The projects are a 33/11 KV grid station at Karamtala in Saintala block, modern crematorium ‘Muktidham‘ at Titilagarh and a hostel for girl students in DAV Autonomous College at Titilagarh.
Tripathy also inspected the ground level progress of new bus terminal under construction in Balangir.
Speaking on the occasion Tripathy said, the quality of power supply would improve after the operation of the new substation.
