Angul: Three people were killed in a road mishap near PTC square of Angul on Wednesday night. The dead persons have been identified as Dipak Nayak, Kalia Nayak and Dillip Nayak of Turanga village.
Sources said the three were returning home in a scooter around 1.30am, after watching Danda Nacha, when a speeding truck hit their scooter. Two of them died on the spot while the third one succumbed to injuries at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
The police have begun investigations.
