Three Doctors, 19 Nurses In Quarantine After Coming In Contact With Jajpur COVID-19 Patients

Jajpur: Three doctors, 19 nurses and paramedic staff are being kept in quarantine in Jajpur district.

“They had come in contact with the recent COVID-19 patients in a hospital OPD while treating them. They were sent to a COVID Care Centre last night,” Jajpur Collector Ranjan Kumar Das informed on Tuesday.

Their family members have also been asked to stay in home isolation, he added.

Jajpur has so far reported seven positive cases. Five among them were detected with the virus on Monday and had travel history to West Bengal. They were working as labourers at Burrbazar in Kolkata.
