Bhubaneswar: The second phase of Vande Bharat Mission includes three flights to Odisha.
According to sources, of 149 flights to be operated under the Mission include one each from the USA, UAE and Malaysia. The second batch of flights will take off between May 16 and 22 and include feeder flights.
The Civil Aviation Ministry had launched the Mission to evacuate the Indians willing to come to home country in the wake of outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. It is considered as one of the world’s largest evacuation operations.
The first phase of the mission was launched on May 7. It continued for five days.
