Sambalpur: Three members of a family, including two minors, died bathing in a river after Holi celebrations at Thelkuli in Sambalpur district on Friday.
The dead have been identified as Raju Paswan, his daughter Subha Paswan (7) and son Badal Paswan (8) of Banahi village in Bihar.
Sources said the three had gone to bathe in the Kherual river after playing Holi. When they did not return home till evening, their family members lodged a complaint with the police. Later on Saturday morning their bodies were rescued with the help of fire brigade personnel.
