Athagarh: Three people were injured in a bomb blast on
Khantakuta-Nuabandha road in Cuttack district on Monday.
The victims were rescued by some locals and admitted to Athagarh
hospital for treatment.
Reports said a group of miscreants hurled bombs in the area targeting
a pedestrian and fled the spot immediately.
Police have started investigation into the matter and to ascertain the
reason behind the bomb blast.
On Sunday night, four bombs were hurled at Pokhari village under Niali
block in the district. A person was injured in the incident.
