Bhubaneswar: Three persons met with a tragic end after two two-wheelers collided head-on at Giringaput square on the outskirts of the city on Thursday.
The accident occurred in the evening when two motorcyclists riding pillion rammed into each other. The reasons behind the mishap is yet to be known.
Some passerby rushed the victims to Khurda District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in a critical condition. However, three of them succumbed to their injuries while the condition of the fourth person is stated to be critical.
While one of the deceased has been identified as Pratap Barik of Giringaput. Police have recovered the bodies and sent those for post-mortem.
