Three Killed In Truck-Bike Collision In Cuttack

Cuttack: At least three youths travelling on a motorcycle were killed after being hit by a truck at Brahmanajharilo village under Sadar tehsil in Cuttack district on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Chinmaya Behera, Jisan Khan and Maninageswar Behera.

Eyewitnesses said that the accident took place as the truck driver was travelling at a high speed.

Irked over the incident, an irate mob gathered near the spot and staged a road blockade demanding adequate compensation for the family of the deceased.

Police reached the spot and pacified the agitators on assurance that an inquiry will be initiated into the incident.
