Balasore/ Keonjhar: Three persons were killed and one injured in separate road mishaps in Odisha on Thursday.
In a tragic incident, bus helper Manu Tudu (50) of Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district was killed after the bus he was in hit a truck parked on the roadside from behind near Barikapur at Sora in Balasore district on Thursday. The bus was on its way from Bhubaneswar to Rairangpur.
In another incident, a couple was killed after an SUV they were in rammed into a truck at Palaspanga under Sadar police limits in Keonjhar on Thursday morning.
The couple have been identified as Ballabh Chandra Mahakud and Bani Devi Mahakud of Balani area. They died on the spot while their driver is critically injured.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and sent the injured person to Keonjhar district headquarters hospital.
