Boudh: Three members of a family were electrocuted after coming in contact with a live wire at Jabalpur village under Harabhanga police limits in Odisha’s Boudh district on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Sukanti Behera, her brother-in-law Sushil Behera and her son Sohan Behera.
While Sukanti came in contact with the live wire while drying clothes, Sushil and Sohan got electrocuted while attempting to rescue her.
The neighbours rushed to the spot after hearing cries for help and switched off the power supply before recovering the trio. However, all three of them were rushed to Cuttack’s SCB hospital and were pronounced brought dead.
