Three Members Of Marriage Party From Odisha Killed In Road Mishap In Chhattisgarh

Bargarh: Three members of a marriage party from the district died and four others seriously injured in a road accident in Chhattisgarh in the early hours of Thursday.

According to sources, a bridegroom party of Katapali village was on the way to Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh in a Bolero jeep when the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a truck near Kondatarai under Pusaur police limits killing three persons on the spot.

Following the incident, police rushed to the spot and brought four critically injured persons out of the vehicle.

While two injured persons were rushed to the Vikash Hospital in Bargarh, two others were admitted to the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla where their condition is stated to be critical.

The deceased and the injured members of the marriage party are yet to be identified.
