Bhubaneswar: Almost after a week’s gap, three persons tested corona positive in Bhubaneswar on Thursday, taking the affected tally in Odisha to 212.
The I & PR Department in a tweet identified them as a 36-year-old man from Mancheswar, 34-year-old-man from VSS Nagar and 67-year-old from Surya Nagar.
Contact tracing and follow-up action are being carried out, it added.
Surya Nagar had earlier reported seven cases and was also declared a containment zone for active surveillance and contract tracing.
The last positive case in the Odisha capital was reported on April 28 after a gap of 14 days and the 77-year-old from Madhusudan Nagar had died of COVID-19 on Tuesday (May 5). With two deaths and 32 having recovered from the disease, Bhubaneswar now has 16 active cases.
