Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday created three new revenue inspector (RI) circles in Bargarh district.
The three new RI circles — Talpali, Guderpali and Dangbahal will have headquarters at their respective places.
Apart from this, the state government also reorganised the Gaisilet RI circle.
The creation of new RI circles is part of the development package for Bijepur Assembly constituency as announced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
It may be recalled that on the second day after assuming power in the state, the Chief Minister had announced a special development package for Bijepur including the creation of three new RI circles.
The Chief Minister had a massive victory from the Bijepur Assembly in the recent election. He also registered a landslide win from the Hinjili constituency.
However, he later vacated the Bijepur seat.
