Three Of Family Killed In Bike-Van Collision

Malkangiri: Three members of a family were killed after the motorcycle they were riding collided head-on with a van near MV-23 at Kalimela in Malkangiri district on Thursday.
According to available information, the incident took place when a man, his wife and son were heading towards Manabakunda from Malkangiri in the motorcycle.
A speeding van coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with the two-wheeler, leading to on-the-spot death of the trio.
Following the mishap, police rushed to the spot and seized the bodies.
The driver of the van, however, managed to escape from the spot soon after the accident.
Locals told the cops that the accident occurred due to reckless of the driver of the four-wheeler as he was over-speeding.
