Bhawanipatna: Three members of a family were killed in an LPG cylinder explosion at Thanata village of Dharmagarh block in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Champa Meher (42) was preparing breakfast for her children in a gas stove when the LPG cylinder suddenly went off, killing her and her daughter Sunita (8) and son Anup (5) on the spot.
Hearing the blast, the villagers rushed to the house and saw their three charred bodies.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and took the bodies to a government hospital at Dharmagarh for postmortem.
