Three Persons From Odisha Who Attended Nizamuddin Event Quarantined: Subroto Bagchi

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has identified three persons, who had returned to the state after attending the religious gathering at Nizamuddin in Delhi earlier this month.

At the press briefing here on Tuesday, Chief Spokesperson on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi said that these three persons have been kept under official quarantine.

“Their family members are under observation. The government tracking continues on others who had gone there and details would be shared tomorrow,” he added.

So far, six persons in Telangana and one in Srinagar, who had attended the event, have died and 24 others tested positive for the killer virus.

The Nizamuddin area was later corned off and sanitised. The Delhi Administration also evacuated people from area and got many tested for COVID-19.
