Bhubaneswar: Three special teams have been formed to nab the killers of Chhatrapur councillor from ward no-6 Laxmidutta Pradhan, informed DGP R P Sharma on Sunday.
“Police have identified the miscreants involved in the murder. The special police teams led by Ganjam SP are conducting raids at various locations in the district to arrest the criminals. It is suspected that Pradhan was hacked to death over past enmity.”

“A few people suspected to be directly or indirectly connected with the incident have been detained and are being interrogated,” said Ganjam S P Ashish Singh.
On Saturday, a group of miscreants barged into Pradhan’s residence at LIC Colony in Chhatrapur, hacked him to death with swords and fled the spot.
