Three Quacks Arrested, Huge Quantity Of Medicines Seized In Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Kalimela police here have arrested three persons for posing as doctors and seized medicines in huge quantity from their possession.

The arrested have been identified as Paresh Bawali, Sasank Paika and Sachin Paramanik of MV-73, MV-14 and MV-11 respectively.

Taking advantage of the ongoing lockdown, they tricked innocent villagers of Swabhiman Anchal into believing that they are doctors and treated them, thus endangering their lives.

According to police sources, they were forwarded to court on Saturday after being arrested following raids at several places the previous day on the direction of Malkangiri SP. The three neither had an MBBS degree nor an occupational licence.
