Bhubaneswar: Three special Air Asia flights from Mumbai, Imphal and Guwahati are scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar International Airport on Wednesday at 8.25 am, 2.40 pm, and 11.30 pm respectively.
These are over and above the usual daily flights.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) along with health department, Commissionerate of Police and the airport authorities has made arrangements for thermal screening, stamping and registration of these passengers.
Intensive counselling and awareness about quarantine period, self-care, home quarantine, paid quarantine facilities and referral of critical cases are being done, the BMC said in a press release.
Officers specially deployed are coordinating for hassle-free transit of the passengers to the native places, it added.
