Puri: Three villages under Satyabadi block of Puri district were declared containment zone on Saturday to contain the spread of coronavirus.
After two persons of Pakhimunda village under Dasbidyadharpur panchayat in Satyabadi block tested positive for COVID-19, the local administration declared the village as containment zone.
In the second case, the area between Dangura village and Alikia village came under containment zone after two corona positive cases were reported from Dangura village under Mahura panchayat.
Similarly, Jaipur village under the same panchayat of Satyabadi block came under containment zone after one person of Mahamaya Sahi of the village tested corona positive.
