Gajapati: At least three workers were found dead inside a factory, where ingredients for chowmein is prepared, in Mohana area of Odisha’s Gajapati district on Thursday. The victims are suspected to have died of asphyxiation.
Found unconscious inside the factory, the victims were rushed to hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.
Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the deaths.
According to fire service personnel, the workers probably died of suffocation due to lack of ventilation. A gas cylinder was found to be on. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
