Bhubaneswar: Three youths were reportedly swept away in a drain near Acharya Vihar here late on Monday.
The CCTV footage of the three youths, struggling to wade through knee-deep water, has gone viral. Two pillion riders were seen getting down and helping the rider push the bike to a safer place. The area was flooded following torrential rain last night.
It is suspected that the youths lost control over the motorcycle due to strong water current and fell into the flooded Drain-4.
The incident took place while they were crossing the Acharya Vihar flyover underpass around 12.55 am.
However, the identity of the three youths and their whereabouts are yet to be ascertained.
