Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorm with lightning for the next three days.
Under the impact of the cyclonic circulation over southeast Madhya Pradesh & neighbourhood, gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 km per hour is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada and Gajapati till 8.30 am of April 21.
Similar warning has been issued for all the Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Balangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh till April 22 morning.
The districts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur,
Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,
Sundargarh, Deogarh, Kandhamal, Angul and Dhenkanal too can expect rain and thunderstorm with lightning in the 24 hours starting April 22 morning.
Meanwhile, the day temperature in some districts was above normal with Malkangiri and Boudh recording 41 degree Celsius on the day while Bhubaneswar recorded 40.6 degrees/
