Under its influence, thunderstorm with gusty wind and lightning at one or two places is most likely to occur over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Rayagada and Gajapati. Also, hailstorm is likely at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Dhenkanal and Cuttack.

Due to the inclement weather, fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea over coastal Odisha and north-west Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours till Thursday as strong surface wind speed reaching 25-35 kmph with gusting to 45 kmph will prevail along and off the Odisha coast and north-west Bay of Bengal areas and make the sea condition very rough.
