Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate thundershower in some parts of 24 districts in Odisha till 6 pm on Thursday.
This weather condition will prevail in Nuapada, Balangir, Koraput, Malkangiri, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Nabarangpur, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Boudh, Puri, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Khurda (including Bhubaneswar).
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
