Bhubaneswar: The northern and parts of western Odisha are likely to receive rainfall or thundershower in next 24 hours.
The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its midday bulletin, stated that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Sundargarh districts.
Shallow to moderate fog is likely at one or two places in Coastal Odisha and Dhenkanal and Angul districts during the period.
The IMD stated that there will be no major change in minimum temperature (night temperature) in the state during next
4-5 days.
Light rainfall has occurred at one or two places over the district of KEONJHAR of North Interior Odisha
and dry weather prevailed over the rest districts of Odisha. Dense fog has occurred at one or two places over
the district of JAGATSINGHPUR of North Coastal Odisha and moderate fog has occurred at one or two
places over the districts of PURI & ANGUL of Odisha.
There was marked fall in minimum temperature (night temperature) at one or two places of North Coastal Odisha, appreciable fall at a few places in South Coastal areas and at one or two places in interior areas, while North Interior Odisha witnessed appreciable rise.
The highest maximum temperature of 36 degree Celsius was recorded at Bhawanipatna and Titlagarh and
the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius at Phulbani.
Bhubaneswar recorded highest temperature of 32.2 degree Celsius and minimum of 20 degree Cesius.
