Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning for some parts of six districts of Odisha till 5.10 pm on Thursday.
The weather condition is likely to prevail in Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Nayagarh, Puri, Boudh and Kalahandi in the next two hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
