Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar warned of light to moderate thundershowers with lightning in some parts of 21 districts including the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
The Centre has advised the people of Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Nabarangpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Puri, Nayagarh, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Nuapada, Balangir, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Ganjam, Gajapati and Koraput districts to remain alert for three hours between 12.15 pm and 3.15 pm and move to safer places to protect from the lightning strike.
