Bhubaneswar: Dussehra celebration is likely to be spoiled in Odisha’s seven districts on Thursday night as the IMD has forecast thundershower with lightning in next two and a half hours.
Issuing a yellow message in nowcast warning at 6.15 pm, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar said light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is likely in some areas of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Jajpur, Rayagada and Sundargarh in next three hours.
The weather office has advised the people to keep watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
