Bhubaneswar: Thundershower with lightning is likely in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Puri and Koraput districts on Friday night, according to IMD forecast.
Issuing a yellow message in nowcast warning at 7.40 pm, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar said light to moderate rain and thundershower with lightning is likely to affect some parts of Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts in next three hours.

The weather forecaster has advised the people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
