Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre here has issued yellow warning for 16 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack city, till 5.30 pm on Thursday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack City), Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Balangir, Boudh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Bargarh in next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
