Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for seven districts in Odisha.
According to a morning weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, light to moderate thunderstorm and lightning accompanied by moderate rainfall is likely to continue at one or two places in the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Khurda, including the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, between 9 am to 12 noon.
The people of these districts are advised to remain alert during the period, the bulletin said.
