Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Centre here on Friday issued a thunderstorm and lightning alert for Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Nuapada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Deogarh and Sambalpur districts.
The districts are very likely to experience lightning and thunder accompanied by light downpour from 3 pm to 6 pm on Friday.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
