Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued warning of light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain in parts of five districts during next three hours.
In a Nowcast Warning issued at 3.30 pm, the MeT centre in Bhubaneswar said some parts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sundargarh and Ganjam districts are likely to be affected by light to moderate thunderstorm,
There is also likelihood of lightning and light to moderate rain in these areas during the period, it said.
The MeT centre advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
