Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued yellow warning of light to moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speed reaching 30- 40 kmph, lightning and light to moderate rain for eight Odisha districts.
This weather condition will prevail in Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Boudh and Kandhamal for the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
