Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and rain is likely to occur in 11 Odisha districts in the next three hours.
In a Nowcast warning, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow message for the districts of Sundargarh, Jajpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Sambalpur, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Cuttack and Kendrapada before midnight.
The rainfall and thunderstorm is also likely to occur over some parts of the Khurda district, including Bhubaneswar city, the IMD stated.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
