Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday forecast light to moderate thundershower with lightning and light to moderate rain for some places in nine districts of Odisha.
This weather condition will prevail in Nayagarh, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jajpur and Gajapati till 2.30 pm.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
