Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday forecast light thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain for 12 districts of Odisha till 1 pm.
The weather conditions will prevail in some parts of Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Balasore in the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
