Thunderstorm & Rain Alert For These Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: There will be thunderstorm and lightning with moderate rainfall at several districts in Odisha till 2:30 pm on Sunday, according to the forecast by the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here.

The districts which are likely to experience such weather conditions are Dhenkanal, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jharsuguda, Angul, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Sambalpur, Puri, Sundargarh, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak and Nayagarh.

People in these districts are advised to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings during lightning as a precautionary measure.
