Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here on Thursday issued thunderstorm warning for six districts of Odisha.
According to the Met office’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and intense rain/hail is likely to occur at one or two places in Ganjam and Puri districts.
It has also forecast thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rain at one or two places in Koraput, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Gajapati and Raygada districts till 4,45 pm.
Gusty surface wind with speed reaching 30-40 kmph will prevail at these places, it added.
