Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday forecast light thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain for 16 districts of Odisha.
The weather conditions are likely to prevail in some parts of Cuttack, Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Nayagarh, Boudh, Angul, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kadhamal and Myurbhanj for the next 3 hours.
People have advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
