Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department on Wednesday forecast light to moderate thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate rain for 14 districts of Odisha.
This weather condition will prevail in some parts of Jajpur, Kendrapada and likely to continue in some parts of Dhenkanal, Angul, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and Kandhamal within next two hours.
People have advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
