Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for six districts of Odisha till 3.45 on Sunday.
Light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph may affect some parts of Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur and Bhadrak during this period.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
