Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has sounded yellow warning for thundershower and lightning in 18 districts of Odisha.
According to a mid-day bulletin by the Met Centre, there will be light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning in some parts of the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Gajapati, Raygada, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack (including Cuttack city) and Khurda (including Bhubaneswar) between 2.15 pm and 5.15 pm.
The people are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike, the bulletin added.
