Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Thursday issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for seven districts in Odisha.
A Met centre bulletin said light to moderate thunderstorm and lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph and light to moderate rainfall were likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Angul, Keonjhar, Kandhamal and Boudh between 3 pm and 6 pm.
The people of these districts are advised to remain alert during the period, the mid-day forecast said.
