Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued a warning of thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain in the capital city and six districts of Odisha.
In a release, the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar stated that some parts of districts of Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj and Ganjam will experience thunderstorm with lightning and rain between 3 pm and 6 pm.
The Met office has advised the people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from the lightning strikes.
