Bhubaneswar: There will be thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds in 11 districts of Odisha on Saturday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned.
The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said there will be light to moderate thunderstorm with wind speeds reaching 30-40 kmph, lightning and light to moderate rain in some parts of Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Raygada, Koraput, Ganjam and Gajapati districts between 12.15 pm and 3.15 pm.
The people in these districts are advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places.
