Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Sunday issued thundershower and lightning warning for 22 districts of Odisha and the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar in next three hours.
The Met office, in a nowcast warning, said there will be light to moderate thundershower with lightning in some parts of Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Nayagarh, Bargarh, Balangir, Angul, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak in next three hours between 2.45 pm and 5.45 pm.
The Met centre has advised the people to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
